Our journey began when Rafael Serrano, the Founder and Managing Partner, started investing in real estate debt in 2005, seeking consistent income, security of principal, and upside potential.  After ten years of honing our craft, we launched our first fund in 2015 establishing Safe Harbor Equity as a minority owned firm.  Since then, we have managed 3 successful funds, invested over $400 million dollars in performing and non-performing loans and high yield originations, and provided benchmark beating returns to our investors.
